These Terms and Conditions are the agreement between you and Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur when you use this website. They explain what the site is for, what an appointment request does and does not guarantee, and where our responsibility ends. Please read them before you send us a request.

The short version

  • An appointment request is a request, not a booking. Your appointment is only confirmed once we reply and confirm it.
  • Prices shown here are a guide. The final price depends on nail length, shape, condition and the design you choose, and is agreed with you before work starts.
  • Our services are cosmetic, not medical. Tell your technician about allergies, skin conditions, injuries or pregnancy before your service begins.
  • Deposit, cancellation and refund policies are the salon’s, and are given to you when your appointment is confirmed.
  • These terms are governed by the law of the State of Nevada.

By browsing this website, submitting a form on it, or requesting an appointment through it, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website – you are welcome to call in or visit the salon instead.

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request through this website. A parent or guardian can request an appointment on behalf of someone younger.

This website exists to tell you about the salon and its services and to let you get in touch. You are welcome to read it, share links to it, and print pages for your own use.

You agree not to:

  • submit false information, or request an appointment in someone else’s name without their permission;
  • use the forms to send spam, advertising, abusive messages or anything unlawful;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system, or to probe it for vulnerabilities;
  • scrape, harvest or automatically copy content from the site for republication, or use automated tools that place an unreasonable load on the server;

We can restrict access to the site, or decline to act on a request, if any of these things happen.

Submitting the form on this website sends us a request, not a confirmed booking. Your appointment exists only once we reply and confirm the date, time and service with you. Until then, the slot is not held.

The date and time you enter are a preference. If that slot is already taken, or if the service takes longer than the time available, we will offer you the nearest alternative.

Times shown are Pacific Time (Las Vegas). We aim to run on schedule, but services on the client before you can overrun. If we are running late we will tell you, and you can wait, rebook or leave.

We may have to change or cancel an appointment – illness, staff absence, equipment failure or anything else outside our control. If that happens we will contact you as soon as we can using the details you gave us, and reschedule at a time that suits you.

Deposit, late-arrival, cancellation, no-show and refund policies are set by the salon. They are given to you in writing when your appointment is confirmed and are displayed in the salon.

If anything on this website ever conflicts with the policy you were given when your appointment was confirmed, the policy given to you at the time of booking is the one that applies.

If you are not happy with a service, tell us before you leave the salon, or contact us within a reasonable time afterwards. We would much rather put something right than have you go home unhappy.

Prices shown on this website are a starting guide, not a quotation. The price of a nail or lash service depends on things we can only assess in person: the length and shape you want, the condition of your natural nails or lashes, how much removal or repair is needed, and the complexity of any design.

Your technician will confirm the price with you before starting work. Nothing extra is added without telling you first.

We may change prices and the service menu at any time. The price that applies is the one agreed with you at the appointment, not the one that happened to be on the website when you booked. Promotions run for the period stated and cannot be combined unless we say so.

Manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, waxing, facials, head spa treatments and eyelash extensions are cosmetic beauty services. Nothing on this website, and nothing said by a technician in the salon, is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment for any condition.

If you have a nail, skin or eye condition – or you think you might – please see a doctor, dermatologist, podiatrist or optometrist. We can make your nails look better; we cannot treat an infection.

What you need to tell us

Before your service starts, please tell your technician if you:

  • have any allergy or sensitivity, especially to acrylates, latex, adhesives, fragrance or essential oils;
  • have diabetes, a circulatory condition, a compromised immune system, or are receiving chemotherapy;
  • have an open cut, wound, rash, fungal infection, eye infection or any inflamed skin in the area to be worked on;
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding;
  • have had a recent eye procedure, use prescription eye drops, or wear contact lenses (for lash services).

Reactions to cosmetic products are uncommon but possible. If you have never had a lash or adhesive service before, ask about a patch test in advance. We rely on what you tell us, and we cannot be responsible for a reaction arising from a condition or allergy you did not disclose.

For everyone’s safety, we may decline or stop a service – for example where there are signs of infection or injury, or where a client is intoxicated or behaving in a way that puts staff or other clients at risk.

Please arrive on time, follow the instructions your technician gives you, and keep still while sharp tools, hot water or adhesive are in use.

Children who are not being served should not be left unattended in the salon – there is equipment here that is not safe around them. Anyone under 18 receiving a service needs a parent or guardian present.

Please look after your belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for personal property lost, damaged or left behind in the salon.

Aftercare matters: how long a set of nails or lashes lasts depends heavily on what you do afterwards. Your technician will explain the aftercare for your service, and we cannot guarantee how long a service will last if that aftercare is not followed.

The text, photographs, logo, name and design of this website belong to Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur or to the people we license them from, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may link to our pages and share them. You may not copy our content onto another website, use our photographs in your own advertising, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

If you send us a photograph, review or message – through this website, by email or on social media – you give us permission to quote it and to show it in the salon and on our own pages, with your first name only. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.

This website links to places we do not control – our Facebook page and Google Maps, for example. We link to them because they are useful, not because we have checked or endorse everything on them.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur, its owners and staff, from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of this website, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or of another person’s rights.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you and we both consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page, and the updated version applies from the moment it is published.
