This Privacy Policy explains what information Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how you can have it corrected or deleted. It applies to this website only.

The short version

  • This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or remarketing trackers.
  • We only receive personal information if you type it into a form and press send – your name, email address, phone number and what you want to ask or book.
  • We never sell your information and we never pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
  • No payments happen on this website, so no card or bank details are ever entered here.
  • You can ask us to delete anything you have sent us by emailing [email protected].

Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur is a nail, lash and head spa salon at 1132 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “the salon” mean that business, and “this website” means the pages published at /.

This policy does not cover what happens after you leave this website. Our Facebook page, Google Maps and any other site you reach by following a link from here are run by other companies under their own privacy policies.

Information you choose to give us

This website has two forms. Nothing is collected from them unless you fill one in and submit it, and neither form contains hidden fields.

  • Contact form (on the contact page): your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
  • Appointment request form (on the home page): your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your preferred date and time.

Whatever you write in the message box is up to you. Please do not send us medical records, financial details, a Social Security number or any other sensitive information through these forms – we do not need them to answer a question or hold an appointment.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, ours runs on a web server that keeps access logs. Those logs record your IP address, the browser and device you used, the page you requested, the page you came from, and the date and time. If you use the blog search box, the words you searched for appear in the web address and therefore in those logs too.

We use these logs to keep the site online and secure and to find broken pages. We do not try to work out who you are from them, and we do not combine them with anything you send us through a form.

This section is as important as the one above. As of September 17, 2026, this website:

  • does not run Google Analytics or any other analytics service;
  • does not run advertising or remarketing trackers – there is no Meta (Facebook) Pixel, no Google Ads tag and no TikTok pixel on any page;
  • does not set any cookie of its own;
  • has no user accounts, so there is no password, profile or login history to store;
  • takes no payments – card and bank details are never entered on this site;
  • has no newsletter or mailing-list signup;
  • does not build an advertising or interest profile about you, and does not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

If any of this changes we will update this page first, and we will say what changed – see Changes to this policy.

We use what you send us only to:

  • answer the question you asked;
  • check availability, arrange, confirm or change an appointment, and contact you if something about that appointment changes;
  • keep a record of what service you asked for, so the technician is ready for you when you arrive;
  • keep this website working and secure, and investigate misuse or spam;
  • comply with the law when we are legally required to do so.

Contacting us does not put you on a marketing list. We do not send promotional email or text messages to people who filled in a form, unless you separately and clearly ask us to.

This website does not set cookies. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing of ours to consent to.

Two Google services are loaded inside our pages, and both of them necessarily see your IP address and browser details because your browser has to connect to them directly:

  • Google Fonts (every page) supplies the typefaces the site is set in. Google states that the Google Fonts file service does not set cookies.
  • Google Maps (the contact page only) shows the map of the salon. A Google Maps embed can set Google cookies when it loads. If you would rather it did not, you can block third-party cookies in your browser, or find us through the address written on the page instead of using the map.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites, and we do not allow anyone else to do so through our pages, so a Do Not Track signal from your browser has nothing here to switch off. For the same reason this site does not respond to Do Not Track signals in any special way.

We keep the circle as small as we can. The only parties that receive information through this website are:

Beyond that, we will disclose information only where the law requires it – for example a valid subpoena, court order or lawful request from a government authority – or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not share your information with advertisers, marketing agencies or data brokers.

Nevada law (Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A) gives Nevada consumers the right to direct a website operator not to sell the covered information it has collected about them.

Marvelous Nails & Lashes – Decatur does not sell covered information, and has never done so. If that ever changed, we would publish it on this page before any sale took place.

You can still submit an opt-out request at any time. Email [email protected] with “Nevada opt-out” in the subject line and include the email address or phone number you gave us, so we can find your record. That address is our designated request address for the purposes of Nevada law. We will verify and respond within the period Nevada law allows.

We keep what you send us for as long as we need it for the reason you sent it – to answer your question, to arrange your appointment, and to know what you had done last time so we can look after you properly on your next visit. When that reason has passed, we delete it.

Server access logs are kept on the short rolling schedule our hosting provider uses and are overwritten automatically.

You do not have to wait for any of that. Ask us to delete your information and we will – see the next section.

Email [email protected] and tell us what you want:

  • See it – we will tell you what we hold about you.
  • Fix it – we will correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it – we will delete it, unless we are legally required to keep a particular record.
  • Stop contacting you – we will note it and stop.

Please write from the email address you originally used, or include the phone number you gave us, so we can be sure we are talking to the right person. We do not charge for any of this, and asking will never affect the service you get in the salon.

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Form submissions arrive in a salon email account that only staff who need it can open. Because no payments are taken on this site, there are no card numbers here to protect in the first place.

We have to be honest about the limits: no website, email account or method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. We take reasonable steps, but we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us on that understanding.

This website is meant for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a child under 13 has sent us information through a form, a parent or guardian can email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Appointments for anyone under 18 should be requested by a parent or guardian, who will also need to be present at the salon.

The salon serves the Las Vegas area, and this website is intended for visitors in the United States. It is hosted in the United States, so anything you send us is stored and handled there.

We apply the rights described above – see it, fix it, delete it – to everyone who asks, wherever you happen to live, rather than only to the people a particular statute covers.

When this policy changes we update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page, so you can always tell which version you are reading.

If a change materially affects how we handle information we have already collected – for example if we add analytics, an advertising tracker, an online booking system or a live chat widget – we will post a clear notice on this page before that change takes effect, and we will not apply it retroactively to information you sent us under the old policy.
